June 17th: ParkHop with HIKEhoppers

Family and friends are invited to “hop” around to three different parks around St. Cloud. Each hike is under 2 miles and includes a scavenger hunt for the kids. Each hiker receives a lunch, a T-shirt, and a HIKEhopper Vibe bracelet (among completion of all three parks). Children even have a chance to create their very own Vibe bracelet!

The hike begins at 8:00 a.m. in Quarry Park, followed by Kraemer Lake and Rockville County Parks. For more information, you can call (320) 267-5896 or check out www.hikehoppers.org.


June 22nd-25th: Granite City Days

Granite City Days has something for everyone to enjoy. Kick off the fun with the Lemonade Art Fair on Thursday the 22nd at SCSU, check out the block party in Whitney Park on Friday, and bring the kids out to the Granite City Days parade on Saturday! July 4th: Fireworks

This year is the 70th annual Fourth of July fireworks in St. Cloud! Check out Hester and Wilson park, where they will be having live music, food, and a few activities to enjoy all day. July 20th: Art Fair in the Gardens

The tenth annual Art Fair in the Gardens will be held this summer at Munsinger Gardens. This is a free event that features artists from all around Minnesota. Musicians will be performing from 11:30am to 7:00pm, including Carlos Quinche, who will be playing native flutes all day in the upper gardens. Food and beverages will also be provided. All of this will be surrounded by the beautiful flowers of Munsinger Gardens!


October 12th: TEDx

This fall, St. Cloud will be hosting a TEDx event at the Paramount Center for the Arts from 5:00pm-8:00pm! TEDx is a branch off the TED (Technology, Entertainment, and Design) organization. This organization encourages influential speakers from all over the world to share their ideas. Since TEDx focuses on local, self-organized events, there are spots available for any interested sponsors, volunteers, and speakers to participate. More information here: http://tedxstcloud.com/


June 15th, July 20th, August 1st : Get to Know Your Neighbor

Every month, St. Cloud hosts an event to encourage cohesiveness throughout the community. The “Get to Know Your Neighbor” event pushes families away from their electronics and together for some fun. Join your neighbors for a picnic at Centennial Park (6/15), Hester Park (7/20), and 101 Park (8/1) from 5pm-7pm. June 15th, July 20th, August 17th: Under the Stars Movie Series

Every third Thursday of the month this summer, St. Cloud will be putting on an outdoor movie night. This a free event at Whitney Memorial Park starting at dusk. There will even be concessions! Every Tuesday: Art as You Like it: Paint N Party

Every Tuesday from 6pm-9pm, Art as You Like it hosts a “Paint n Party’ Class. This isn’t any painting class though. Bring your friends and enjoy two adult beverages and a shared appetizer! Perfect for girls night! Each week, there are different themes to the class. From the Eiffel Tower, to a white daisy, you become the artist! Every Wednesday: Summertime by George!

Every Wednesday from 5pm-9pm, the Rotary Club of St. Cloud puts on a free festival by Lake George. They feature local vendors, regional bands, and even “Little Georgetown” for the kids. A band performs each week, like The Johnny Holm Band, The Killer Vee’s, and the Fabulous Armadillos. It’s fun for all ages! More information is available here: http://www.summertimebygeorge.com/


Every Day: St. Cloud Rox Schedule

What a better way to enjoy the summer than a little baseball? All summer long the St. Cloud Rox plays different teams from around the state. They play almost DAILY!
